Aleksei Archer is an incredibly versatile and dynamic American actor. Her birthplace is New York. TV stars are celebrating their birthdays this August 14. The year 2007 saw her debut on television. The same year, she got an entry-level job in a restaurant named An American Place for one year. Guarnaschelli started her cooking career prior to that, as she was watching her mom test recipes when she was editing her books at the house. After a stint with Larry Forgione in New York in France, New York and Los Angeles she also worked in Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. Guarnaschelli eventually became the executive chef at Butter. Guarnaschelli defeated Cat Cora on Food Network's Iron Chef America 2007 Farmers Market Battle. Following her appearance as a judge on the program In 2011, she took part in the show's fourth season in which she came third. Also, she lost in her final competition, the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. In the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef, she was hired as a sous chef to Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In 2008, she was the host of Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli in which she instructs an intimate group of students in the art of teaching them to reimagine classic recipes.
