Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five in addition to the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win the gold medal in the team event, earning both she and Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to win consecutive team golds. In addition, she won two silver medals in the floor exercise and individual all-around. The three years that passed between the Olympic Games she won, she took a break. Her gold medal winning American team also won two World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve the opportunity to have a career that is successful as a fashion designer. Her signature leotards as well as socks, and other clothing are expected to be enlarged in the future. Fierce is a book that she will release later this year.
